California Phlebotomy Certification Class
80-hour Laboratory Field Services (LFS) and California Department of Public Health (CDPH) and Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE) approved Phlebotomy Training & Certification Class.

Class Structure:

  1. 40 hours of didactic in class phlebotomist training.
  2. National Exam – scheduled at your convenience after you complete class.
  3. 40 hour externship scheduled after you get your exam results (completed in one week, Monday-Friday. Weekends and evenings not available)
  4. We process and prepare all paperwork for you.
  5. Processed paperwork returned so you for your license application: California Phlebotomy License – CPT1

The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) regulates phlebotomy certification and has specific requirements you must meet. There are three certifications in California, each with a set of requirements that must be met:

Limited Phlebotomy Technician

Phlebotomy Technician I

Phlebotomy Technician II

Phlebotomy Training Specialists program helps you get your CPT1 license. This is a prerequisite to a CPT2.
