Alicia Freed CPT II

Alicia attended Clinical Training Institute in December 2013 and has been certified in Phlebotomy since 2014.

She gained her knowledge of laboratory practices from the hospital setting covering all departments from the Acute Floor, Emergency Department, Surgery Department, Nursing Facility and Outpatient Lab.

It is here in this setting that Alicia was able to gain her back lab experience. It is this is experience that taught her how to do daily, weekly and monthly maintenance as well as calibration and changing of reagents on the testing instruments.

She was trained to run and report results of waived testing as well as setting up specimens by plating them for micro biology.

Alicia brings experience, knowledge, compassion and an upbeat personality into her role as a trained and skilled phlebotomist/instructor.

Melanie Chanthamany Proeung, CPT II-NHA, BLS

Melanie is currently pursuing her career by going to school to get her Bachelors of Science degree to apply for the post-bachelor program for clinical laboratory scientist. Melanie attended Liberty Career College and received both her Medical Assistant and Phlebotomy certification. She has been Nationally Certified in Phlebotomy since 2013. She has furthered her training as a phlebotomist and is now a Certified Phlebotomy Technician II since 2015. She received her EKG training and certification from Los Angeles Career College as well in July of 2017. Melanie brings a lot of teaching experience and enthusiasm to the table. She is interactive and brings hands-on skills to provide her students with the best.

Tricia Gifford CPT- RPT

Tricia Gifford attended Clinical Training Institute in Bakersfield CA and has been Certified in Phlebotomy, drawing in hospital and outpatient settings for 9 years. She is CPR certified and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table when it comes to drawing blood.
