Carol Paige Smalling is a Phlebotomy Instructor in the Southern California area. She received her A.A.S. From Moraine Valley Community College and studied BSM at NLU. She received her training in Illinois and California. She currently holds a national certification (NCPT, NAPT) as well as a State of California Phlebotomy License. She is also BLS CPR certified. She enjoys Laboratory Science and bringing several years of teaching experience and enthusiasm to the table, accompanied by a steady hand when it comes to drawing. She enjoys and look forward to educating future Phlebotomy Technicians.
Sheryl attended Technical Health Career School from 1985 -1986, performing her internship at Martin Luther King Medical Center. She began her career at Brotman Medical Center and has had the opportunity to work for the most influential and state of the art facilities. She continues to work as a CPT performing essential duties in all areas of the acute care facilities. She also has had the experience of performing diagnostic testing under the licensure of a Clinical Licensed Scientist. She is pleased and excited to have the opportunity to inspire healthcare professionals in the phlebotomy field.
