Doug Calderon

Douglas Calderon has 18 years of experience in phlebotomy. At the young age of 18, Douglas became a mobile phlebotomist. His passion for phlebotomy grew so much that in 2005 he became a phlebotomy Proctor/Instructor. Douglas is certified by NCCT as a licensed CPT2 phlebotomist. He continue to work as a CPT2 technician performing essential duties in all areas of convalescent care. Douglas continues to thrive in the field of Phlebotomy because he cares for all patients and students. He is very compassionate, understanding and patient. He wants his students to know that phlebotomy is a rewarding career. So STICK with him.

Candice Ramirez

Candice has been a phlebotomist for 7 years. She gained her experience working inpatient at a level-one trauma hospital in Utah as a team lead and a mentor. Candice recently moved to California with her husband at the end of 2022. They have 4 children total between the 2 of them. Candice has 2 cats, her Halloween kitties, an orange tabby named Jack O Lantern, and a long-haired black cat named Frank E Stein. Candice loves plants and is building her plant collection with tropicals that do well here in California. She is organized and detail-oriented. She is very excited to share her best practices and phlebotomy experiences with you.
