Christy comes to us with 25 years in the field as a Nationally Certified Phlebotomy Technician. Diversified in many phlebotomy sectors from pediatric / oncology clinical trials to addicts, OR / ER to mobile phlebotomy has expanded her skill of drawing blood into an art form. As an instructor, she is compassionate, patient, and understanding of the different styles of learning making sure her students are well prepared for the National Exam, externship, and feel a level of confidence ready to begin their career. Christy makes the material fun to learn, digestible, applicable and practical.

Carrie Jackson CPT1

Carrie has been a CA-CPT 1 since 2013 and has worked in various phlebotomy positions such as forensic phlebotomy, mobile phlebotomy, hospital/laboratory and stem cell research. Carrie landed in the medical field and has love phlebotomy ever since. She has started to enjoy her next passion, teaching, with PTS and is loving every bit of it. Guiding and helping others be successful is her ultimate goal for all her students.

Shelley Escobar

Shelley Escobar is currently in the Criminal justice program at the Cerritos College preparing to go Arizona State University to become a Forensic Psychologist. Shelley Escobar attended phlebotomy training and has been certified in Phlebotomy for a number of years now. She brings a lot of teaching experience and enthusiasm to the table and has a steady hand when it comes to drawing blood.
