Danielle Thomas

Danielle is currently a traveling phlebotomist for a lab in Denver. She attended the Denver School of Nursing and completed the Firefighter Academy and First Responder course at Red Rocks Community College. Danielle has been in the medical field for many years. She is very compassionate and loves teaching phlebotomy. Along with many years of experience, she has been involved with some of the best trauma hospitals in the Metro area as a phlebotomist. Danielle has perfected the art of drawing blood and does everything she can to help her students became successful future vampires.

Danamarie Ortiz

Danamarie has been an practicing certified phlebotomist since obtaining a certification in 2006.  Ortiz has experience in both clinical and hospital settings.  She began her career at Swedish Medical center where she continues to work as a phlebotomist and lab assistant.  She has a great deal of training experience with new hires as well as students.  Hobbies and interests include tennis, hiking and photography.

Emily Mehring

Emily has a wide-range of experience in the healthcare field. She currently works out of the laboratory as a trainer at Lutheran Medical Center which is recognized as one of America’s best hospitals. She is a phlebotomist and central specimen processor. Emily also worked as an EMT in the ER for Lutheran’s sister hospital Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Denver. She has aided doctors as a medical assistant and scribe. Emily graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver with a bachelor of arts in photojournalism and a minor in digital media. She is an award winning professional photographer who documents area news, real estate properties as well as milestone moments for families. She is a dedicated mother to one son who is her sunshine.
