Lisa Barnes has been an instructor for medical secondary education for over 20 years, instructing Medical Assisting, Medical Billing and Coding, Phlebotomy and EKG. Lisa obtained her Medical Assisting training in 1991 and has been working in the field for over 30 years. Lisa was an independent contractor for over 15 years traveling within the Tristate area drawing blood for several major insurance companies as well as working for noted companies such as LabCorp. Lisa’s passion is teaching and she brings a wealth of education and teaching experience as well as enthusiasm and a genuine interest in the enhancement of her students.
ShaDonna is currently a manager at a local drug testing facility. She obtained her national certification 4 years ago and immediately began assisting her own instructor and working in the field. ShaDonna has worked as a mobile phlebotomist for noted companies such as Quest, Exam One and APPS. ShaDonna brings experience, compassion, a steady hand and is looking forward to seeing all succeed.
Ms. London is a 15 year certified phlebotomist who currently draws blood for the NBA, Ms. London spent some years as a regional director for the covid response team and program manager and lead phlebotomist for the Atlanta Falcons. Ms. London started as a CNA and went on to receive her Phlebotomy certification at Manhatten university in 2004. With her extensive experience, Ms. London brings on the job realness and proficient explanations which makes it all make sense.
Nikita received her phlebotomy certification from Central Georgia Technical College in 2010. She began her career at Oconee Regional Medical Center immediately upon finishing school.
Since receiving her phlebotomy certification Nikita has gained experience working with inpatient, outpatient, specimen processing as well as traveling phlebotomy. She had tons of experience in training new hires and students.
