Lisa Barnes

CCMA

Lisa Barnes has been an instructor for medical secondary education for over 20 years, instructing Medical Assisting, Medical Billing and Coding, Phlebotomy and EKG. Lisa obtained her Medical Assisting training in 1991 and has been working in the field for over 30 years.  Lisa was an independent contractor for over 15 years traveling within the Tristate area drawing blood for several major insurance companies as well as working for noted companies such as LabCorp.  Lisa’s passion is teaching and she brings a wealth of education and teaching experience as well as enthusiasm and a genuine interest in the enhancement of her students.

ShaDonna Harris

CPT

ShaDonna is currently a manager at a local drug testing facility. She obtained her national certification 4 years ago and immediately began assisting her own instructor and working in the field. ShaDonna has worked as a mobile phlebotomist for noted companies such as Quest, Exam One and APPS. ShaDonna brings experience, compassion, a steady hand and is looking forward to seeing all succeed.

Terri Jones

Terri Jones has been working in the medical field for over 15 years. Her first job was in a hospital working in the kitchen and from there she started a job as a CNA, after moving on to be a unit secretary. She went back to school to become a medical assistant. She then moved to Georgia where she found a job as part of a wonderful team that started IVs. While working there she met a patient who was a supervisor at a laboratory who presented her with a job opportunity as a phlebotomist! She went for it and fell in love with phlebotomy. She has been doing this ever since, so instructing a class is like a dream come true! She enjoys what she does and enjoys each student that comes to her class.

Willie Miller

Willie is a native of South GA. He started his phlebotomy career in 2014 and has had many wonderful opportunities. Will has worked for many high-volume labs that are open throughout the world for the top quality and proficient healthcare provided. Willie has worked with different profound individuals. He carries himself with dignity and class and sees good in everything and everybody. Will is very active in his church. He loves to sing, cook, and bake. He is very family oriented and also he’s the youngest of three. He is fun, loving, and outgoing. Willie is super excited to share all he has learned to help others with their dreams and aspirations.
