In the state of Washington, Phlebotomists are required to obtain a Medical Assistant – Phlebotomy license. This license is obtained through participating in a state approved course (like ours!) comprising 48 hours of didactic training and completion of a National Exam. Aspiring phlebotomists who complete these steps apply to the Washington Department of Health for a Medical Assistant – Phlebotomy license.
In the state of Washington, phlebotomists are much more likely to obtain employment with proof of successful blood draws and a national certification. Phlebotomy Training Specialists graduates will have both of these things and will be fully prepared to enter the Washington workforce!

Being absent from class or other educational responsibilities does not excuse students from keeping up with any information shared or expectations set during the missed class.
