Elizabeth Jaramillo

As a member of the AAMA, Elizabeth is a Clinical Certified Medical Assistant certified through the National Healthcareer Association. She has performed phlebotomy and worked in urgent care settings, family practices, and neuroscience clinics in the Albuquerque area for over 12 years. In recent years, she has enjoyed mentoring and instructing future healthcare professionals in obtaining certifications in medical assisting, phlebotomy, EKG, and healthcare administration certification. Elizabeth is very safety oriented, and has a passion for healthcare quality and patient care. In her personal time, she enjoys volunteering for various healthcare organizations and fundraisers, and the pursuit of continuing education. She has a great deal of experience in training new hires and students and is excited to have the opportunity to inspire you as a healthcare professional in the phlebotomy field.

Tanya Toohey

Tanya was born and raised in New Mexico. She started her phlebotomy career in 2011. She is a certified Medical Assistant. She has worked with adult and pediatric patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She enjoys the variety of work that the field of phlebotomy allows her to experience on a day to day basis. She is passionate and energetic about teaching phlebotomy and is looking forward to sharing her area of expertise with you.
